I was born and raised in Nashville, though it took me a while to get back here! In the meantime, I studied Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies at Yale, worked as a special education teacher in New Mexico, and served with an education non-profit in New York City before hearing the call to ministry. I went to seminary at Princeton Theological Seminary, and right before coming to UKirk Nashville in 2021, I was on the pastoral team of a church in Austin, Texas. I love UKirk for its inclusivity, authenticity, inquisitive spirit, and all-around JOY!
